9/11 Memorial Year End Update 2010 : Page 12WELCOMING VISITORS FROM AROUND THE WORLD 9/11 Memorial Preview Site Welcomes One Millionth Visitor The Preview Site reached a milestone less than one year after opening to the public. The Preview Site was established to provide the public with an opportunity to learn about the Memorial and Museum, see construction progress and record their own 9/11 stories for use in future Museum exhibits. The Preview Site has welcomed visitors from more than 63 different countries.* Fifty-three percent of Preview Site visitors were international tourists. * According to an internal survey on visitation in the first two quarters of 2010.
