9/11 Memorial Exhibition Brochure 2011 : Page 2IN MEMORIAM The exhibition will commemorate the lives of those killed in the attacks of September 11, 2001, and February 26, 1993. An outer corridor will present portraits of the nearly 3,000 men, women and children who died as a result of these attacks. The sheer expanse of the walls will convey the scope and scale of loss. Nearby, interactive tables will allow visitors to search for information about particular people. In a quiet chamber at the center of the gallery, profiles of individual victims will invite visitors to bear witness, and serve as a reminder that all of us are diminished when any one of us suffers the loss of a loved one through the senseless act of terrorism.
